Normally we discuss all things 2A related, and this year for Washington there were two gun bills which passed. We discuss both of them starting with HB 2320, a new ban on 3D printing and possession of certain digital files. Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, also discusses HB 2521, which removes the $18 cap on what WSP can charge for background checks. The 3D printing bill has an emergency enactment date, while the background check bill goes into effect the same day that we commence with our pre-purchase licensing requirements. But then we discuss all the other carnage from this legislative session and there is plenty. In fact, had we discussed all of it I would still be sitting in front of the camera. But we do hit a few of lowlights from what was an abysmal legislative session.
